How We Check Bingo Halls
We check each hall against its own website, parish bulletin or lodge page where one exists, and we say so on the page. Where a hall has no website, we list it from a local bingo directory and mark it as unconfirmed, so you know to call first. We remove halls that are closed, and each page shows the month it was last checked. If you know of a hall we missed or one that has closed, send us the details through the contact page.
Bingo Hall Questions
Are bingo halls open to the public?
Most charity bingo games run by fire departments, lodges, parishes and clubs are open to the public. Some states, such as West Virginia, require it. Call the hall if you are not sure.
How old do you have to be to play bingo?
It depends on the hall and the state. Many halls require players to be 18 or older, and a few casino-style halls require 21. The age rule is listed on each state page where we could confirm it.
What time does bingo usually start?
Most evening games start between 6:00 and 7:30 PM, and many halls open their doors one to two hours earlier. Some halls also run afternoon sessions.
How do I know a bingo hall is still open?
Call the number listed before you go. Schedules change, and holiday weeks are often skipped. Each page shows when we last checked it.
Why does a state have so few halls?
State rules differ. In Tennessee, for example, a nonprofit can hold only one bingo event a year, so there are no regular weekly halls.
