Wisconsin bingo is mostly charity bingo: parishes, VFW and American Legion posts, Elks, Moose and Eagles lodges and Lions clubs run games under a license from the Office of Charitable Gaming in the Wisconsin Department of Administration. Milwaukee County has the most licensed organizations, followed by Dane County around Madison, and six tribal casinos run bingo halls of their own, led by Potawatomi in Milwaukee and Oneida near Green Bay. Last checked: October 2026. This page lists 64 games: 17 checked against the hall’s or casino’s own website, and 47 taken from the state’s Active Bingo Search, which we read on October 10, 2026. Two more casino halls are unconfirmed leads. Many Wisconsin games run every other week or skip holiday weeks, so phone before you drive.
A word on the tables. Each row in the regional tables comes from the state’s license list and shows the address, day and start time of the bingo sessions that organization is licensed to hold between October 10 and December 18, 2026. Two times on the same day are two licensed sessions played back to back, not a choice of start times. The state list has no phone numbers, prices or door times, so get there early on your first visit, or look the organization up before a long drive.

Milwaukee and Southeast Wisconsin Bingo Halls
The Milwaukee area has the most bingo in the state. Milwaukee County had 20 licensed organizations when we read the state list, with more in Waukesha, Racine and Kenosha counties, and Potawatomi Casino Hotel holds sessions every day of the week. Sunday is the big day for lodge and parish games in the city. If you live near the state line in Kenosha County, our Illinois bingo halls page covers the other side.

La Crosse, Eau Claire and Western Wisconsin Bingo
Bingo in western Wisconsin is mostly a lodge, post or parish game held one night a week or every other week. Chippewa County had 13 licensed organizations and St. Croix County 11, and Ho-Chunk Gaming Black River Falls is the one casino bingo hall we could confirm on this side of the state. We found no organizer website to check the La Crosse, Eau Claire or Chippewa Falls games against, so those rows rest on the state list alone. Close to the St. Croix River? See our Minnesota bingo halls page too.

Northwoods and North Central Wisconsin Bingo
Up north the games are small and far apart: a VFW hall in Wausau, a parish hall in Ashland, Moose lodges in Superior and Rice Lake, and Lions and Legion nights in bars and community centers. Vilas County had 4 bingo licenses and Oneida County 2, and none of them showed a dated session past October, so we have nothing weekly to list around Minocqua, Eagle River or Rhinelander. Lake of the Torches in Lac du Flambeau is only an unconfirmed lead: its bingo page carried an undated notice that bingo is closed until further notice.

More Wisconsin Bingo Listings
These two casino bingo halls are leads, not confirmed games. Each casino’s own website gives a schedule and a closure notice on the same page, and we could not tell which is current. Call before you go.
| Hall and address | What its website says | Phone | Map |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lake of the Torches Resort Casino, 510 Old Abe Rd, Lac du Flambeau, WI 54538 | When we checked, the bingo page carried an undated notice that bingo is closed until further notice. The hours still printed under that notice are Wednesday to Friday with early bird 5:00pm and regular session 6:00pm, and Saturday and Sunday with early bird 12:30pm and regular session 1:30pm | 1-800-25-TORCH | Directions |
| Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells, S3214 County Road BD, Baraboo, WI 53913 | Posted as open Wednesday to Saturday: sales 4:00pm, early birds 5:30pm, warm-ups 6:00pm, regular session 6:30pm, with matinee sales at 12:15pm and a 1:15pm start. The same section carries a closed until further notice line beside a winners list from July 2021. Players must be 18 or older | 1-800-746-2486 | Directions |
Not every Wisconsin casino has bingo. The Ho-Chunk Gaming Nekoosa site shows no bingo hall or sessions, and the St. Croix Casinos in Turtle Lake and Danbury mention bingo only as an occasional special event. We also found no bingo page for Sevenwinds Casino in Hayward, Bad River Casino or Potawatomi Carter.
Wisconsin Bingo Rules
- Who regulates it: the Office of Charitable Gaming in the Wisconsin Department of Administration licenses and regulates charity bingo under Chapter 563 of the Wisconsin Statutes. It says it licenses about 350 organizations that hold over 7,000 bingo sessions a year. Its bingo line is (608) 270-2530 or (800) 791-6970
- Who may run bingo: religious, charitable, service, fraternal and veterans organizations, and other groups to which gifts are tax deductible. A group must normally be 3 years old with at least 15 members, and nobody may be paid to manage or run the game
- Prize limits: no single game may pay more than $500, and all the prizes at one session may not total more than $2,500. Progressive jackpot bingo is outside those caps: the jackpot starts at up to $500 or half of that game’s card sales and grows until someone wins it, with a consolation prize of at least $100
- Minimum age: a minor may play only if an adult relative or the minor’s guardian is in the building or on the premises. The state’s own booklet puts it as 18 unless such an adult is present. Minors may not help run a game
- Card prices: admission to regular bingo is capped at $1, extra regular cards at $1 each and special game cards at $1 each. The price list must be posted where cards are sold
- Hours and sessions: no game may start before 7:00am or after midnight unless a local ordinance extends the hours. Every session must be listed on the organization’s license, at a fee of $20 a session. Festival bingo may run on no more than 4 out of 5 days in a row, once a year
- Online bingo: the Office of Charitable Gaming says it is illegal to run virtual bingo in Wisconsin where players must buy in. Cards must be sold and paid for at the session where they are played
- Senior centers and care homes: they can hold social bingo on a $10 license for their own members, residents, guests and staff. There is no admission fee, a player pays no more than $2 a session, prizes equal the fees collected and progressive jackpots are not allowed
The Department of Administration sets out the license rules on its bingo license page, and the limits above are in Chapter 563 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Organizations also pay the state a tax of 1 percent on their first $30,000 of bingo receipts each year and 2 percent above that, and must collect sales tax from players. Bingo at tribal casinos is not on the state’s charity license list, and each casino sets its own age rule and prizes. The state pages we read say nothing specific about tax on a player’s winnings.
Wisconsin Bingo FAQ
Is bingo legal in Wisconsin?
Yes. Charity bingo is legal in Wisconsin when the organization holds a license from the Office of Charitable Gaming in the Wisconsin Department of Administration, under Chapter 563 of the Wisconsin Statutes. The office says it licenses about 350 organizations a year. Tribal casinos such as Potawatomi in Milwaukee and Oneida near Green Bay run bingo halls as well.
How old do you have to be to play bingo in Wisconsin?
At a state-licensed charity game in Wisconsin you must be 18, unless an adult relative or legal guardian is in the building with you. Tribal casinos set their own rule. Potawatomi Casino Hotel in Milwaukee requires 21 for bingo, while Oneida Casino, Ho-Chunk Gaming Black River Falls and Mole Lake Casino say 18.
What is the biggest bingo prize allowed in Wisconsin?
At licensed charity bingo in Wisconsin a single game may pay no more than $500, and all prizes at one session may total no more than $2,500. Progressive jackpot bingo is the exception and can grow past those limits until someone wins it. The charity limits do not apply to bingo at tribal casinos.
Where can I play bingo in Milwaukee?
In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Potawatomi Casino Hotel at 1721 West Canal Street holds bingo every day for players 21 and over. Charity games in Milwaukee include Sunday bingo at Elks Lodge #46 on Good Hope Road, Moose Lodge #49 on South 13th Street and St. Bernadette Parish, and Monday bingo at the Knights of Columbus hall in South Milwaukee.
Which Wisconsin casinos have bingo?
We confirmed bingo on the casino’s own website at six Wisconsin casinos: Potawatomi Casino Hotel in Milwaukee, Oneida Casino in Green Bay, Ho-Chunk Gaming Black River Falls, Menominee Casino Resort in Keshena, North Star Mohican Casino Resort in Bowler and Mole Lake Casino in Crandon. Two more are unconfirmed: the Lake of the Torches bingo page in Lac du Flambeau carried an undated closed until further notice line, and the Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells page contradicts itself, so call those two first.
How do I find a licensed bingo game near me in Wisconsin?
The Wisconsin Office of Charitable Gaming runs a free Active Bingo Search at charitable.wi.gov. Pick your county or city and it lists each licensed organization with the dates, times and addresses of its bingo sessions. On October 10, 2026 it showed 380 active licenses in 66 of Wisconsin’s 72 counties, and the office’s bingo line is (608) 270-2530.
Why call before I go?
Many Wisconsin charity games run every other week or only on the dates on their license, and several skip Thanksgiving week. Oneida Casino changes its whole bingo schedule on November 1, 2026, and St. Pius X in Appleton canceled its October 10 game at short notice. A quick call saves a long drive, and in a Wisconsin winter that matters.
