Oregon bingo is mostly charity bingo: nonprofits, Elks lodges, an American Legion post and senior centers run the games under rules set by the Oregon Department of Justice, and four tribal casinos run bingo rooms of their own. Games are spread from Portland and Salem down the Willamette Valley to Medford and Klamath Falls, along the coast, and east to Bend and Pendleton. Last checked: October 2026. The 24 games below were checked against the organizer’s own website, and 6 more are older leads; we could not confirm a game in Hillsboro, Springfield, Grants Pass or Redmond. Several lodges skip holidays and a few admit members and guests only, so read the notes and call before you drive.

Spirit Mountain Casino in Grand Ronde, still shown in one old directory with bingo 7 days a week, lists no regular bingo on its site today, and neither do Kla-Mo-Ya Casino in Chiloquin or Indian Head Casino in Warm Springs.
Oregon Bingo Rules
- Who regulates it: the Oregon Department of Justice, Charitable Activities Section, under Oregon Revised Statutes chapter 464 and Oregon Administrative Rules chapter 137, division 25
- Who can run it: only groups exempt from federal income tax, including public agencies and public schools; a private nonprofit must have been tax-exempt for at least one year
- Licenses: needed once bingo sales pass $5,000 in a calendar year; Class A has no sales limit, Class B allows up to $250,000 a year, Class C up to $75,000 and Class D up to $20,000
- Prize limits: state law lets the Department set value limits on bingo prizes by rule, and its rules do, with separate treatment for linked progressive games; ask the hall what its games pay
- Minimum age: cards may not be sold to anyone under 18 unless a parent or legal guardian is there to witness the sale; halls may set a stricter rule
- How often: a licensed group may run bingo no more than 4 days and 20 hours in a calendar week unless the Department grants an exception
- Pull tabs and machines: pull tab sales are not allowed under these rules; cards can be paper or electronic, but the numbers must be drawn from a container in view of the players, never picked by a computer
- At the hall: prizes, rules and costs must be posted, and you must be present to win
The Department of Justice answers common questions in its charitable gaming FAQ, and the full rules are in OAR chapter 137, division 25. For tax on prizes it points to the federal IRS rules. Its rules do not cover tribal casinos, which it says are federally regulated with oversight from the Oregon State Police, so the four casinos on this page set their own prizes and age limits. The Department’s gaming pages carry no public list of licensed bingo games, which is why every game here was checked against the organizer’s own site instead.
Oregon Bingo FAQ
Is bingo legal in Oregon?
Yes. Oregon allows charitable bingo run by tax-exempt nonprofits, and the Oregon Department of Justice licenses any group whose bingo sales pass $5,000 in a calendar year. Tribal casinos in Oregon also run bingo under federal and tribal rules.
Where can I play bingo in Portland, Oregon?
DAV Bingo at 8725 NE Sandy Blvd in Portland, Oregon plays Wednesday through Monday at 10:00am, 12:30pm and 6:30pm and is closed on Tuesdays. Nearby, American Legion Post 180 in Milwaukie, the Gateway-Gresham Elks (Thursday) and the Oregon City Elks (Wednesday) hold regular games.
How old do you have to be to play bingo in Oregon?
Oregon’s rule is that bingo cards may not be sold to anyone under 18 unless a parent or legal guardian is there to witness the sale. Many halls set their own age: B&G Bingo in Salem, the Bend Elks and Chinook Winds require 18, and Seven Feathers Casino Resort and the Oregon City Elks require 21.
How much can a bingo game pay in Oregon?
Oregon law lets the Department of Justice limit charity bingo prizes by rule, and its rules do, with separate treatment for linked progressive games. Every Oregon charity hall must post its prizes, so ask the hall what its games pay. Tribal casino bingo in Oregon is outside those rules and sets its own prizes.
Which Oregon casinos have bingo?
Four tribal casinos in Oregon post bingo sessions on their own sites: Chinook Winds in Lincoln City (daily), Seven Feathers in Canyonville (six days a week), Three Rivers in Florence (Monday and Wednesday) and Wildhorse near Pendleton (set dates each month). In October 2026 the sites for Spirit Mountain, Kla-Mo-Ya and Indian Head listed no regular bingo.
How many days a week can an Oregon bingo hall open?
Each licensed group in Oregon may run bingo no more than 4 days and 20 hours in a calendar week unless the Oregon Department of Justice grants an exception. DAV Bingo in Portland opens six days a week and describes itself as a collective of nonprofits, with each day’s proceeds going to one of its sponsors.
Why call before I go?
Several Oregon lodges skip bingo on holidays, Wildhorse changes its bingo days every month, and several of the lodge pages we read carry no date. A short call confirms the day, the start time and whether non-members can play.
