Bingo Hall Guide for Ontario

Bingo in Ontario is played mostly at Charitable Bingo and Gaming Centres that raise money for local charities, and Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) lists 37 of them, from Windsor to Thunder Bay. Independent charity halls and two First Nation halls add to that, and most of them play every day of the week. Last checked: October 2026. The 48 halls below were checked against the hall’s or operator’s own website, 24 with full details and 24 in the tables, and 2 more are older leads; we could not confirm a hall inside Hamilton, Brantford, Guelph or Oshawa. Session times, prices and holiday hours change often, and one Windsor area centre has moved, so phone before you drive.

Ontario Bingo at a Glance

  • Who regulates it: the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO); OLG lists the 37 Charitable Bingo and Gaming Centres
  • Minimum age: 18 at OLG centres and licensed charity bingo, and 19 to be served alcohol at centres with a bar; two halls post an age rule of their own, covered under Ontario Bingo Rules below
  • Prize limit: no single cap; a regular charity bingo event has a prize board of $5,500 or less, and anything bigger is a Monster bingo that needs an AGCO licence
  • On this page: 48 confirmed halls: 12 around Toronto, 6 in Niagara and near Brantford, 11 in Ottawa and the east, 9 in the southwest, 4 in central Ontario and 6 in the north
  • Last checked: October 2026

Toronto and GTA Bingo Halls

We confirmed 12 halls around Toronto. Delta Bingo & Gaming runs six of them; the rest are Dolphin Gaming, two Rama Gaming House sites, two Bingo World and Gaming halls and the independent Bingo Bingo Brampton. Five of the six Delta centres here have electronic bingo and Vegas-style machines as well as paper, while the Dixie Road hall in Mississauga is bingo and food only. Delta’s house policies say outside food and drinks are not allowed and seating is first come, first served unless a centre says otherwise. Delta’s site has a page for each centre with its weekly sessions; Delta says the programs and prices posted there are for reference only and the program in the centre is the one it honours. Pickering is the one hall we confirmed in Durham Region.

We could not confirm these two for 2026. One comes from a June 2025 news story and the other from an undated directory listing, so treat them as leads and call first.

Some names from older lists are not on this page. Bingo Country, once listed in Scarborough and Richmond Hill, now shows a single hall on its own site, in London; the Scarborough and Richmond Hill centres on OLG’s list are Rama Gaming House and Bingo World and Gaming. We left out Princess Bingo Centre in Hamilton, Red Barn Bingo in Oshawa and a Legion bingo in Guelph because we could not find a current source for any of them.

Ontario Bingo Rules

  • Who regulates it: the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), which also registers the owners and operators of bingo halls
  • OLG centres: Ontario Lottery and Gaming lists 37 Charitable Bingo and Gaming Centres offering paper bingo, electronic bingo, TAP ‘N PLAY games and Play On Demand games
  • Who issues a charity bingo licence: a municipality when the total prizes are $5,500 or less; AGCO for bigger events, super jackpots and progressive games
  • Prize boards: a regular bingo event has a prize board of $5,500 or less, and anything over that is a special or Monster bingo
  • Minimum age: 18 at OLG’s Charitable Bingo and Gaming Centres; AGCO’s licence terms also say a licensed charity bingo must not let anyone who appears to be under 18 play
  • Alcohol: several centres state that you must be 19 to be served
  • Admission and payment at licensed charity bingo: no admission fee may be charged, bingo paper is sold for cash only, and the organizer may set a minimum purchase
  • Where the money goes: net proceeds must go to the charitable or religious purposes approved in the licence

AGCO explains the licence types on its bingo events page and who issues each one on its where to apply page, and OLG keeps the list of 37 centres. Ontario has no single prize cap, and we found no official prize limit for OLG centres. Six Nations Bingo Hall and Garden River Bingo are First Nation halls with their own house rules, and two halls post an age rule of their own: Play! Gaming & Entertainment in Kingston is 19 and over, and Garden River states 16. Other provinces set different rules; see our page on bingo rules by province.

Ontario Bingo FAQ

Where can I play bingo in Ontario?

Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) lists 37 Charitable Bingo and Gaming Centres across Ontario, from Windsor to Thunder Bay, and there are independent charity halls and two First Nation halls as well. We confirmed 48 Ontario halls in October 2026, with the largest groups around Toronto (12), in Ottawa and eastern Ontario (11) and in the southwest (9).

How old do you have to be to play bingo in Ontario?

The minimum age is 18 at Ontario’s OLG Charitable Bingo and Gaming Centres, and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) tells licensed charity bingos not to let anyone who appears to be under 18 play. You must be 19 to be served alcohol. Two halls post a rule of their own: Play! Gaming & Entertainment in Kingston restricts entry to 19 and over, and Garden River Bingo, a First Nation hall near Sault Ste. Marie, states 16 in its house rules.

Who regulates bingo in Ontario?

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulates charitable bingo in Ontario and registers bingo hall operators. Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) lists the 37 Charitable Bingo and Gaming Centres, and municipalities license smaller charity bingo events with total prizes of $5,500 or less.

How many Delta Bingo locations are there in Ontario?

Delta Bingo & Gaming says it has 18 locations across Ontario, and its site listed 18 in October 2026: Barrie, Brampton, Downsview, Etobicoke, two in Fort Erie, Hawkesbury, Mississauga, Niagara Falls, Oakville, Pembroke, Penetanguishene, Peterborough, Pickering, St. Catharines, Sudbury, Val Caron and Welland. Seventeen of them are on OLG’s list of charitable gaming centres; the Mississauga hall on Dixie Road is not.

Is there a prize limit for bingo in Ontario?

Ontario has no single cap on a bingo prize. AGCO defines a regular bingo event as one with a total prize board of $5,500 or less, which a municipality can license, and anything larger is a special or Monster bingo licensed by AGCO. Bigger games are posted too: Delta Bingo & Gaming Downsview in Toronto listed a $150,000 Monster Bingo for November 29, 2026.

Can I pay for bingo with a debit or credit card in Ontario?

Usually not. AGCO’s terms for licensed charity bingo in Ontario say bingo paper must be sold for cash only, and Dolphin Gaming in Scarborough, Friends’ Bingo Hall in Ottawa and Superior Shores in Thunder Bay all say bingo is cash only. Each of those three has an ATM on site.

Why call before I go?

Ontario halls change their session times often: Bingoland in Ottawa posted a new schedule starting June 21, 2026 and Cambridge changed its program two days earlier. Power Play Gaming Centre has moved from Tecumseh to Lakeshore, several centres post two different sets of opening hours, and holiday hours differ; Delta Mississauga closes on Thanksgiving Day. A call also gets you the price of a book, which many centres post only as a price sheet.
