Bingo in Kentucky is charity bingo: parishes, school band boosters, Shriners, veterans posts and other licensed nonprofits run the games, many of them in licensed bingo halls that several charities share. The halls cluster in Louisville, Franklin on the Tennessee line, Corbin and the Pikeville area, with single halls in towns such as Lexington, Hopkinsville, Paducah and Owensboro. Last checked: October 2026. This page lists 26 games and halls: 5 games with a schedule from the organizer’s own website, and 21 licensed halls from the state license search of October 10, 2026, which gives a street address but no days, times or phone number; 2 older leads follow. Any phone number, zip code or hours shown for those 21 halls come from business directories, not from the hall, and charities change nights, so phone before you drive.

Louisville Area Bingo Halls
Jefferson County has four licensed bingo halls, and each hosts several charities. At two of them we confirmed a weekly game from the charity’s own site. The table below, like the others on this page, holds halls we could confirm only on the state license search. The license gives a street address and nothing more: the zip codes, phone numbers and any hours in these tables come from business directories and were not checked with the hall, so use them as a starting point for your call. South of the city, Radcliff and Bardstown have a licensed hall each.

St. Bartholomew Parish Bingo at J-Town Bingo Hall (Louisville)
- Address: 9125 Galene Dr., Louisville, KY 40299 (Directions)
- Phone: (502) 499-0883 (parish office, not the hall)

- Good to know:
- Run by St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. The parish calendar repeats the game every Sunday and showed October 11, 2026 as the next date.
- The calendar names the hall but not the street. The street address here is from the hall’s state license, and the zip code from a directory.
- Doors time and prices are not posted, so ask the parish office.
- Other charities play at J-Town Bingo Hall on other days. A directory lists the hall as open daily, with the number (502) 266-0026; we did not confirm either with the hall.

- A $2 Queen of Hearts raffle runs every bingo night. Electronic gaming opens at 3:00pm on Thursday and Friday and at 4:00pm on Sunday.

Northern Kentucky Bingo
Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties have no licensed commercial bingo hall on the state list. Bingo here is run by parishes, school boosters, lodges and veterans posts in their own halls, and few of them post a schedule online. We confirmed one weekly game, in Florence, which pauses every September and October, and could not confirm one in Covington or Newport. Players near the river can also check our Ohio bingo halls page.

Ryle Band Bingo at the Erlanger Lions Club (Florence)
- Address: 5996 Belair Dr, Florence, KY 41042 (Directions)
- Phone: 859-384-5300 (the number on the band’s website; not a bingo line)
- Days and times: Every Saturday night except September and October. The start time is not posted, so call or check the Ryle Band Bingo Facebook page
- Good to know:
- Run by the Ryle High School Band Boosters of Union. The band’s page says bingo is every Saturday night except September and October, its marching band season, so the game is on its yearly break as we publish. By that calendar it returns in November, but the band has not posted a restart date, so check before you go.
- The band’s bingo page names the Erlanger Lions Club but gives no street address. The address here comes from a 2025 event listing, so confirm it when you call.
- That listing showed a Saturday game from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and said the hall has bingo computers. The band has not confirmed either.
Bowling Green and South Central Kentucky Bingo
Franklin, in Simpson County on the Tennessee line, has three licensed charitable gaming facilities. If you are coming up from Tennessee, our Tennessee bingo guide covers the rules south of the line. None of the three posts a schedule we could check, so the table shows what the license and the directories give. Warren County has no licensed hall on the state list, and we could not confirm a weekly game in Bowling Green; one lead is in the table further down. Somerset has two licensed halls.

Western Kentucky Bingo Halls
Hopkinsville, Paducah, Owensboro and Princeton each have a licensed hall. Hopkinsville is in Christian County, which borders Tennessee; we could not confirm a bingo session in Oak Grove itself. Owensboro has two conflicting addresses for its bingo hall: the state license gives 1101 E. Byers Ave., while a 2023 state list and the Owensboro Catholic Schools page give 3560 New Hartford Road. We could not settle which is right, so phone the Opportunity Center before you set out.

Eastern Kentucky Bingo Halls
The El Hasa Shriners near Ashland post a game every Tuesday and Wednesday. Corbin has two licensed halls, and both licenses run out this fall (October 22 and November 17, 2026), so confirm each is still playing before you go. Pikeville, Prestonsburg, Stanville and Elkhorn City have a licensed hall each. The two Middlesboro halls on older lists no longer hold an active license, and we could not confirm a game in London.

More Kentucky Bingo Listings
These two are leads we could not confirm for 2026. One comes from a school page last changed in January 2024, the other from a business directory. Call first.
| Hall and address | Days and times (not confirmed for 2026) | Phone (not confirmed) | Map |
|---|---|---|---|
| Big Blue Bingo Hall, 3560 New Hartford Rd., Owensboro, KY | Owensboro Catholic Schools: two sessions each weekend, a 1:30pm matinee and a 6:00pm evening session, as of the school’s page from January 2024. The Opportunity Center’s active state license now shows 1101 E. Byers Ave. instead, so ask where the game is played | 270-684-3215 (high school office, given for volunteer questions) | Directions |
| Knights of Columbus Hall, 911 Searcy Way, Bowling Green, KY 42103 | Not listed. No Knights of Columbus council in Warren County is on the state’s active license list, so this may only be a hall for hire | (270) 782-6488 (from a directory) | Directions |
Some names from older lists no longer showed an active facility license when we searched the state records in October 2026: Tiny Town Bingo in Guthrie, the Kentucky Downs bingo license in Franklin, Derby City Bingo in Louisville, Jackpot Bingo in Lexington, and Tri-State Bingo and Purple Clover Bingo in Middlesboro. That is not proof that a hall has shut for good, but do not drive to any of them without a call.
Kentucky Bingo Rules
- Who regulates it: the Office of Charitable Gaming, an office within the Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation (KHRG), under KRS Chapter 238; it was formerly the Department of Charitable Gaming
- Who may run bingo: only licensed charitable organizations: groups with federal tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3), (4), (8), (10) or (19), or Kentucky schools, school districts, colleges and universities, that have operated in Kentucky for charitable purposes for three years
- Small games: a qualifying charity whose bingo takes in $25,000 or less a year is exempt from the license, but must notify the Office of Charitable Gaming and file a yearly financial report
- Prize limit: a charity may award no more than $5,000 in bingo prizes in any 24-hour period, door prizes included
- Minimum age: 18 to play or to buy bingo supplies; someone under 18 may play only for noncash prizes worth $10 or less, with a parent or legal guardian. Pull tabs are 18 and over
- How often: under the law in force since July 15, 2026, a charity may hold one session a day and three a week, for up to five hours in a day and fifteen in a week; a licensed hall may host up to 18 sessions a week in cities of 20,000 or more and up to 8 elsewhere
- Pull tabs and bingo computers: paper and electronic pull tabs are allowed, and no single ticket may pay more than $1,499; card-minding devices (bingo computers) are allowed alongside paper. Since July 15, 2026 electronic pull tab devices in places that admit people under 21 must sit in a cordoned-off area for patrons 21 and older
- Tips: the people who run a charity game may not be paid for it, and state law counts tips as pay
The Office of Charitable Gaming posts its forms, notices and training manual, and the state’s licensee search shows whether a hall or charity holds an active license. The prize, age and session limits are in KRS 238.545, in the version in force since July 15, 2026, and the hall limits are in KRS 238.555. A license record gives an address and an expiry date but no days or times, which is why so many halls above still need a phone call.
Kentucky Bingo FAQ
Is bingo legal in Kentucky?
Yes. Kentucky allows charitable bingo under KRS Chapter 238. Every game must be run by a licensed charitable organization, and the Office of Charitable Gaming within the Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation licenses both the charities and the bingo halls they rent.
How old do you have to be to play bingo in Kentucky?
You must be 18 to play bingo or buy bingo supplies in Kentucky. The one exception in state law is that someone under 18 may play for noncash prizes worth $10 or less if a parent or legal guardian is with them. Pull tabs are 18 and over with no exception.
What is the biggest bingo prize allowed in Kentucky?
A licensed charity in Kentucky may not give out more than $5,000 in bingo prizes in a 24-hour period, and that total includes door prizes. A single pull tab ticket may not pay more than $1,499.
How many nights a week can a Kentucky bingo hall be open?
Under the law in force since July 15, 2026, each Kentucky charity may hold one bingo session a day and three a week, with no more than five hours in a day. A licensed hall can host several charities: up to 18 sessions a week in cities of 20,000 or more, and up to 8 a week elsewhere.
Where is the closest Kentucky bingo to Nashville and the Tennessee line?
Franklin, Kentucky, in Simpson County on the Tennessee line, has three licensed charitable gaming facilities: Bingo Fantastic at 844 Federal Street, the hall at 5950 Nashville Road and American Legion Post 62 at 3478 Nashville Rd. Hopkinsville has Cooperative Blazer Bingo at 1099 Skyline Drive. Tiny Town Bingo in Guthrie no longer had an active facility license in October 2026, and none of these halls posts a schedule we could check, so call first.
Do Kentucky bingo halls have pull tabs and electronic machines?
Yes. Kentucky charities may sell paper pull tabs and offer electronic pull tab devices, and players may use card-minding devices, often called bingo computers. Since July 15, 2026 electronic pull tab devices in places that admit people under 21 must sit in a cordoned-off area for patrons 21 and older.
Why call before I go?
Most Kentucky bingo halls are shared by several charities, each limited to three sessions a week, so the night you want may belong to a different group or may have moved. Only 5 of the 26 games and halls on this page post their own schedule; the other 21 were confirmed from the state license list, which gives an address but no days or times, and any phone number or hours we show for them come from a business directory.
