Bingo Hall Guide for New Mexico

New Mexico has two kinds of bingo: bingo rooms at four tribal casinos, three of them in the Albuquerque area and one at Casa Blanca on Interstate 40, and smaller charity games at veterans posts, lodges and club halls licensed by the New Mexico Gaming Control Board. Locations with a state license for bingo, raffles or pull-tabs reach from Roswell, Clovis and Carlsbad across to Las Cruces, Deming and Gallup, and city senior centers in Santa Fe, Farmington and Las Cruces list bingo among their activities. Last checked: October 2026. The 14 games and halls below were checked against the hall’s own site, a city or chamber page, or the state’s list of licensed locations; 27 more locations that the state licenses for bingo, raffles or pull-tabs are listed with address and phone only, because the state does not say which of the three each one runs, and we kept no older directory leads. The state does not publish days or times, and several schedules here come from pages with no date, so call before you drive.

New Mexico Bingo at a Glance

  • Who regulates it: the New Mexico Gaming Control Board licenses charity bingo, raffles and pull-tabs under the New Mexico Bingo and Raffle Act; tribal casino bingo is not under that license
  • Minimum age: no single statewide age that we could find; each hall sets and posts its own: 21 at Isleta, 18 at Sandia, Route 66 and Dancing Eagle, 16 at the Roswell Sertoma hall
  • Main prize limit: $2,500 in bingo prizes per occasion at a state-licensed game, not counting pull-tabs, raffles and door prizes; casino halls set their own prizes
  • Games on this page: 14 with their own entry: 4 in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, 3 in Santa Fe, Las Vegas and Red River, 2 in Deming and Las Cruces, 3 in Gallup, Farmington and Casa Blanca, and 2 in Roswell and Clovis; plus 27 locations licensed for bingo, raffles or pull-tabs, listed with address and phone only
  • Casino bingo: 4 tribal casinos post sessions: Isleta, Sandia and Route 66 in the Albuquerque area, and Dancing Eagle at Casa Blanca
  • Last checked: October 2026

Bingo in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho

We list four confirmed bingo games in the Albuquerque area of New Mexico: three tribal casino halls with Albuquerque addresses, which between them play every day of the week, and an American Legion post in Rio Rancho that plays on the last Friday of eight months of the year. Isleta and Sandia are on the edges of the city, and Route 66 Casino Hotel is on Interstate 40 to the west. None of the three casino halls is state-licensed charity bingo, so the state’s $2,500 prize cap does not apply to them, and each sets its own age rule.

Older lists name Albuquerque halls such as Duke City Bingo, Snowheights Bingo and White Rose Bingo; none is on the state’s current list and we found no current page for any of them, so they are not listed here.

Bingo in Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico

We list three confirmed bingo games in northern New Mexico, one each in Santa Fe, Las Vegas and Red River, and only the Santa Fe game has a current weekly day: Wednesday afternoon at a city senior center. The city does not post who may play there. The state’s list of licensed locations has no entry in Santa Fe, Espanola or Taos. The Las Vegas Elks lodge is licensed and has a bingo hall, but its days come from an old lodge page, and Red River plays on dates it posts as it goes. In October 2026 the sites for the Ohkay, Santa Claran, Cities of Gold, Buffalo Thunder and Taos Mountain casinos showed no bingo sessions.

The state’s list gives VFW Post 7686 in Alamogordo as 700 Hwy 10 West, while an older directory writes Highway 70 West, so check the address when you phone.

New Mexico Bingo Rules

  • Who can run it: a religious, charitable, environmental, fraternal, educational or veterans’ group, or a chartered branch or lodge of one, that runs without profit to its members and has existed in New Mexico for two years; volunteer firefighter groups and labor organizations qualify if the proceeds go only to scholarships or charity
  • Prize limit: all bingo prizes at one occasion may total no more than $2,500, not counting pull-tabs, raffles and door prizes; a door prize may not be worth more than $1,000
  • How often: as we read the Act, no more than 260 occasions in any 12 months, six in a calendar week and three in a calendar day, each lasting no more than four hours; we could not confirm these figures against the state’s official copy of the Act
  • Hours: no occasion may start before 9:00am or after midnight
  • Cards and payment: paper cards only; hard cards are not allowed. Cards cannot be sold on credit or bought with a credit card, though a hall may take a debit card. Electronic and video pull-tab machines are not allowed
  • Small games: a qualified group that holds bingo or a raffle no more than once in any three calendar months, and no more than four times a year, does not need a license
  • Senior centers: a senior citizen group, meaning one where most members are at least 55, may run bingo at a senior center if only the players share the proceeds and no minor plays or helps run it
  • Tax: the organization pays a bingo and raffle tax of 0.5% of its gross receipts each quarter; halls record the winner’s details for some prizes of $600 or more

The New Mexico Gaming Control Board enforces these rules under the New Mexico Bingo and Raffle Act. It publishes its list of licensed bingo, raffle and pull-tab locations and lists the Act and its rules on its statutes and regulations page; the session rules are in 15.4.7 NMAC, Conduct of Bingo. The limits on how often a group may play are our reading of the Act, so a group planning games should confirm them with the board. We found no statewide minimum age for players in the Act or the rules. Each licensed hall must post house rules that include its age requirements, so ask the hall. Casino bingo at the pueblos runs under tribal-state compacts, not this Act, so the licensing rules and the $2,500 cap do not apply there. For other states, see our bingo rules by state page.

New Mexico Bingo FAQ

Is bingo legal in New Mexico?

Yes. Nonprofit groups such as veterans posts, fraternal lodges and churches may run bingo in New Mexico with a license from the New Mexico Gaming Control Board under the New Mexico Bingo and Raffle Act. Tribal casinos also run bingo under their gaming compacts, and senior centers may hold their own games.

How old do you have to be to play bingo in New Mexico?

It depends on the hall. We found no single statewide minimum age in New Mexico’s Bingo and Raffle Act or the Gaming Control Board’s rules; each licensed hall posts its own age rule. Isleta Resort & Casino requires 21, Sandia, Route 66 and Dancing Eagle allow bingo at 18, and the Roswell Sertoma Club hall sets 16.

How much can you win at bingo in New Mexico?

At a state-licensed charity game in New Mexico, all bingo prizes at one occasion may total no more than $2,500, not counting pull-tabs, raffles and door prizes. Tribal casino bingo is not under that cap: Route 66 Casino Hotel advertises $1,500 guaranteed payouts on Saturday night, and Isleta lists games that can pay up to $2,500 each.

Which New Mexico casinos have bingo?

In October 2026 four New Mexico casino sites posted bingo sessions: Isleta Resort & Casino, Sandia Resort & Casino and Route 66 Casino Hotel in the Albuquerque area, and Dancing Eagle Casino at Casa Blanca on Interstate 40. The sites for Santa Ana Star, Sky City, Ohkay, Santa Claran, Cities of Gold, Buffalo Thunder, Taos Mountain, Inn of the Mountain Gods and the three Navajo casinos in New Mexico showed no bingo sessions.

Who regulates bingo in New Mexico?

The New Mexico Gaming Control Board licenses charity bingo, raffles and pull-tabs under the New Mexico Bingo and Raffle Act. Its list of licensed locations had 35 licensees in 18 towns when we read it in October 2026. The board does not license tribal casino bingo.

How often can a New Mexico charity hold bingo?

As we read the New Mexico Bingo and Raffle Act, a licensed organization may hold up to 260 bingo occasions in 12 months, no more than six in a calendar week and three in a day, each lasting no more than four hours. We could not confirm those figures against the state’s official copy of the Act, so check with the New Mexico Gaming Control Board. The board’s rules say no occasion may start before 9:00am or after midnight.

Where can I play bingo in Albuquerque?

Three tribal casinos in the Albuquerque area of New Mexico post bingo sessions: Isleta Resort & Casino at 11000 Broadway SE plays a matinee and an evening session every day, Sandia Resort & Casino at 30 Rainbow Rd NE plays every evening and a matinee every day but Wednesday, and Route 66 Casino Hotel at Interstate 40 Exit 140 plays every evening with matinees on Saturday and Sunday. American Legion Posts 13 and 99 in Albuquerque hold state licenses for bingo, raffles or pull-tabs, but the state does not publish days or say which of the three they run.

Where can I play bingo in Las Cruces?

We could not confirm a day or time for any bingo game in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The state licenses American Legion Post 10, Fraternal Order of Eagles 4038, Knights of Columbus 1226 and the members only VFW Post 10124 there for bingo, raffles or pull-tabs, plus Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Mesilla Park, and the city lists bingo at the Henry Benavidez Community Center for people 50 and older. Elsewhere in southern New Mexico this page lists a Monday night game at the Deming Elks lodge, taken from a lodge page with no date, so call before you drive.

Where can I play bingo in Santa Fe?

The Mary Esther Gonzales Senior Center at 1121 Alto St. in Santa Fe, New Mexico, lists bingo on Wednesdays from 1:15pm to 3:15pm on its October 2026 calendar. It is a city senior services activity, not a public charity hall, and the city does not post who may play, so call 505-955-4721 before a first visit. The state’s list of licensed locations has no entry in Santa Fe.

Why call before I go?

New Mexico’s list of locations licensed for bingo, raffles or pull-tabs gives addresses and phone numbers but no days or times, and most posts and lodges announce their games only on Facebook or at the hall. Several schedules on this page come from pages with no date, and Sandia labels its current bingo times as temporary hours.
