Bingo Hall Guide for Nebraska

Bingo in Nebraska is charity bingo, run only by nonprofit groups, volunteer fire companies and rescue squads licensed by the Nebraska Department of Revenue, and we could confirm only three games in the whole state: one in Grand Island, one in Kearney and tribal bingo at Ohiya Casino & Resort near Niobrara. This is not a full list: we could not confirm a single game in Omaha, Bellevue, Papillion, Fremont, Lincoln, Norfolk, Columbus, South Sioux City, North Platte, Scottsbluff or anywhere in the Panhandle, even though state figures show licensed bingo is played in many of those counties. Last checked: October 2026. The 3 games below were checked against the club’s, the visitors bureau’s or the casino’s own page, and 14 more are unconfirmed leads from directories, 10 of them from a list more than 25 years old. Nebraska licenses just 55 bingo groups, publishes no list of their days, and few of them have a website, so phone before you drive.

Bingo in Grand Island and Kearney

This section lists 2 confirmed bingo games in central Nebraska: the United Veterans Club in Grand Island, which plays every Thursday and Sunday, and the Knights of Columbus in Kearney, listed for every Tuesday. The Grand Island schedule comes from the club’s own site; the Kearney game rests on a Visit Kearney visitors bureau calendar entry that was first posted in January 2024 and repeats automatically, so treat it as the weaker of the two. In Hastings, the county visitors bureau lists Tuesday and Thursday bingo at the Eagles club, but that listing carries no date, so the club is in the table further down.

Worth a stop nearby (map links):

United Veterans Club Bingo (Grand Island)

  • Address: 1914 W. Capital Ave., Grand Island, NE 68803 (Directions)
  • Phone: 308-381-1555
  • Days and times: Every Thursday at 7:00pm and every Sunday at 2:00pm; doors open 1 hour before each start
  • Good to know:
    • The club advertises two $1,000 jackpots on the first and third Sunday of every month.
    • The club’s site has pages for VFW Post 1347, American Legion Post 53 and AMVETS. Its bingo page does not say which group runs the game.
    • Card prices and an age rule are not posted, and the page does not say whether you need to be a member, so ask when you call. State law sets 18 as the age for licensed bingo.
    • The schedule was on the club’s own site in October 2026, alongside its October calendar.

Knights of Columbus Bingo Night (Kearney)

  • Address: 1900 Central Avenue, Kearney, NE 68847 (Directions)
  • Days and times: Listed for every Tuesday, 7:00pm to 9:00pm, at Old Town Hall; confirm before a long drive
  • Good to know:
    • Run by the Knights of Columbus with cash prizes. The listing says all the money raised goes to charity.
    • The game is on the Visit Kearney calendar for October 13, 20 and 27, 2026. The entry repeats automatically and was first posted in January 2024, so check the Old Town Hall calendar or ask locally before a long drive.
    • No phone number, price or age rule is listed. A directory listing more than 25 years old gives (308) 237-4255 for the Knights at this address; we could not confirm that the number still works.

Bingo in Niobrara and Northeast Nebraska

This section lists 1 confirmed bingo game in northeast Nebraska: Sunday afternoon bingo at Ohiya Casino & Resort near Niobrara, on the three dates the casino announced for October 2026. We could not confirm any game in Norfolk, Columbus or South Sioux City. Listings more than 25 years old for Legion and VFW posts in Norfolk and Columbus are in the last table on this page, and the state’s report shows licensed bingo money being played in both counties, without saying where. The Winnebago Tribe’s Iron Horse and Native Star casino sites list no bingo, and the state report shows no licensed bingo receipts in Dakota County, where South Sioux City sits.

Worth a stop nearby (map links):

Ohiya Casino & Resort Bingo (Niobrara)

  • Address: 53142 Hwy 12, Niobrara, NE 68760 (Directions)
  • Phone: 402-857-3860
  • Days and times: Sundays, October 11, 18 and 25, 2026; doors 12:00pm, warm-ups 1:30pm, regular session 2:00pm
  • Good to know:
    • The October sessions have a $35 buy-in paying $150, and are played in the Four Winds Event Center.
    • Owned and operated by the Santee Sioux Nation. This is tribal bingo, not state-licensed charity bingo, so the state prize limits do not apply.
    • Bingo here is announced a month at a time, not as a standing weekly game. Check the casino’s promotions page or call for dates after October.
    • The casino’s site gives no minimum age for bingo, so ask before you bring a younger player.

Bingo in Omaha and Eastern Nebraska

This section lists 0 confirmed bingo games: in October 2026 we could not confirm a single game in Omaha, Nebraska, or in Bellevue, Papillion or Fremont. Bingo is being played here all the same: Douglas County took in $2,183,739 in licensed bingo receipts in the year ending June 2025, the most in the state, but the state does not publish where or when. Blondo Bingo appears in several business directories, shown on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but its only web presence is a Facebook page we could not read, and two listings with the same phone number give two different addresses, 8061 Blondo St and 7040 N 102nd Cir. It is in the first table further down as a lead to phone, and a listing more than 25 years old for the VFW in Fremont is in the second. For games on the other bank of the Missouri River, see our Iowa bingo halls page.

Worth a stop nearby (map links):

Bingo in Lincoln and Southeast Nebraska

Lincoln, Nebraska, has no bingo game we could confirm in October 2026, and neither does the rest of the southeast of the state, so this section lists 0 confirmed games. Lancaster County is second in Nebraska for licensed bingo, with $1,196,877 in receipts in the year ending June 2025, so games are running, but the state does not publish where or when. Two halls turn up in business directories, Cornhusker Bingo and Superior Bingo, but neither has a website of its own and one directory puts Cornhusker Bingo at Superior Bingo’s address. Both are in the table further down with their phone numbers, as leads only.

Worth a stop nearby (map links):

Bingo in North Platte and Western Nebraska

No bingo game is confirmed in North Platte, Nebraska, or in Scottsbluff, Gering, Alliance or Sidney, so this section lists 0 confirmed games and has leads only. The state’s report shows licensed bingo receipts for the year ending June 2025 in Scotts Bluff County ($243,509), Box Butte County ($108,671), Lincoln County ($49,385), Keith County ($30,525) and Cheyenne County ($27,107), so groups are playing, but none posts its days where we could read them. The last table on this page has listings more than 25 years old for posts and lodges in North Platte, Terrytown, Alliance and Sidney. If you are near the state line, our Colorado bingo halls page has confirmed schedules.

More Nebraska Bingo Listings

None of the 14 games below is confirmed, and this is not a list of every game in Nebraska. These first 4 come from current business directories or, for Hastings, a county visitors bureau listing with no date on it. The days and hours are what those listings show, not schedules we checked, so treat them as leads and phone first.

Hall and address What the listing says (not confirmed) Phone Map
Blondo Bingo, 8061 Blondo St, Omaha, NE 68134 Address not settled: two listings share this phone number, one at 8061 Blondo St and one at 7040 N 102nd Cir, Omaha, NE 68122. Both show Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday but disagree on the hours, so ask where the hall is and when it plays (402) 391-9088 Directions
Cornhusker Bingo, 2940 Cornhusker Hwy, Lincoln, NE 68504 A business listing shows hours of Wednesday and Sunday, 5:00pm to 10:00pm. Another directory puts Cornhusker Bingo at 4400 N 48th St, which is Superior Bingo’s address, with the same phone, so ask for the address when you call (402) 464-2558 Directions
Superior Bingo, 4400 N 48th St, Lincoln, NE 68504 Listed in the Yellow Pages at this address, with no current days or times. One directory lists Cornhusker Bingo at this same address (402) 464-8000 Directions
Eagle Aerie 592 Club, 107 N. Denver Ave., Hastings, NE 68901 The county visitors bureau listing says bingo every Tuesday and Thursday, open to the public, with no start time; the listing carries no date (402) 463-3053 Directions

The next 10 come from a national bingo directory that says its undated Nebraska entries date from before 2001, so every one of them is more than 25 years old. We could not confirm that any of these posts and lodges still plays bingo or is still at the address shown, and the phone numbers are just as old and may no longer work. We kept them only because three other entries from the same list, in Grand Island, Kearney and Hastings, still match more recent sources, and because each of these counties had licensed bingo receipts in the state’s latest report. The day and time are what the old listing said, with no am or pm, not a current schedule. For other states, see our USA bingo hall directory.

Two names from older lists that we left out: the Bellevue Junior Sports Association’s Sunday bingo no longer appears on the association’s website, and the website of the Bohemian Catholic Sokol bingo hall in Omaha is gone. We found no current sign of either game.

Nebraska Bingo Rules

  • Who regulates it: the Nebraska Department of Revenue, Charitable Gaming Division, under the Nebraska Bingo Act (Nebraska Revised Statutes sections 9-201 and following)
  • Who can run it: nonprofit organizations with a 501(c)(3), (c)(4), (c)(5), (c)(8), (c)(10) or (c)(19) exemption, volunteer fire companies and volunteer rescue or ambulance squads; the group must be organized in Nebraska and have existed for five years
  • Minimum age: no one under 18 may play; the one exception is a limited period bingo or special event bingo where no alcohol is served and no prize is worth more than $50 per game
  • Prize limits: $1,000 for a single bingo game and $4,000 for all bingo prizes at one occasion; door prizes on top of that are capped at $100 per occasion, and at least half of bingo receipts must go back out in prizes each quarter
  • How often: a licensed group may hold no more than 10 bingo occasions a month, and a building may host no more than two a week unless the Department approves more; an occasion may last no longer than six hours
  • Alcohol and food: no alcohol may be sold or served to the public during a regular bingo occasion; food and soft drinks may be sold when the profit goes to the licensed group
  • Electronic aids and pickle cards: the law allows bingo card monitoring devices, electronic aids that mark your cards but cannot take or pay out money; licensed groups may also sell pickle cards, Nebraska’s name for pull tabs, at their bingo games
  • Tax: the organization pays a 3 percent state tax on bingo gross receipts every quarter; cities and counties may not add an occupation tax, and the Bingo Act says nothing about tax on a player’s winnings

The figures above come from the Legislature’s current text of the Bingo Act, such as the prize limits in section 9-255.02; the Department of Revenue’s charitable gaming bingo page has the forms and guides, and the county figures are from its 2025 Charitable Gaming Annual Report. Several figures changed on July 1, 2026: the prize ceiling for games that under-18s may join rose from $25 to $50, and a nonprofit without a bingo license may now get four special event bingo permits a year, with cards at no more than $1 each and prizes at no more than $50. The copy of the Bingo Act on the Department’s own site is a 2015 edition that still shows $25, so go by the Legislature’s text. A bar or other business may not charge for bingo at all. Keno, which many Nebraska bars offer, is a separate city and county lottery and is not covered on this page. Bingo at Ohiya Casino & Resort is tribal gaming, so the state limits above do not apply there. To compare with other states, see bingo rules by state.

Nebraska Bingo FAQ

Where can I play bingo in Nebraska?

We could confirm only three Nebraska bingo games in October 2026: the United Veterans Club in Grand Island every Thursday at 7:00pm and Sunday at 2:00pm, the Knights of Columbus at Old Town Hall in Kearney, listed for every Tuesday at 7:00pm, and Ohiya Casino & Resort near Niobrara on Sundays October 11, 18 and 25. We could not confirm any game in Omaha, Bellevue, Papillion, Fremont, Lincoln, Norfolk, Columbus, South Sioux City, North Platte, Scottsbluff or the Panhandle, so this is not a full list. Omaha and Lincoln have halls in business directories, but we could not confirm their days.

How old do you have to be to play bingo in Nebraska?

You must be 18 to play licensed bingo in Nebraska. The Nebraska Bingo Act lets younger players join only at a limited period bingo or a special event bingo where no alcohol is served and no prize is worth more than $50 per game.

What is the biggest bingo prize allowed in Nebraska?

Under the Nebraska Bingo Act a single bingo game may pay no more than $1,000, and all the bingo prizes at one occasion may total no more than $4,000. Tribal bingo at Ohiya Casino & Resort is not covered by those state limits.

Who regulates bingo in Nebraska?

The Charitable Gaming Division of the Nebraska Department of Revenue licenses and regulates bingo under the Nebraska Bingo Act. Its contact number for questions about how bingo games are run is 402-471-5949.

Can a bar run bingo in Nebraska?

Not for a charge. Nebraska law lets only a licensed nonprofit, or a nonprofit with a special event permit, run bingo that players pay for, and in February 2024 a Lincoln TV station reported the state enforcing that rule against a bar’s weekly bingo night. Keno, which many Nebraska bars offer, is a separate city and county lottery and is not bingo.

Do Nebraska casinos have bingo?

We could confirm bingo at one Nebraska casino: the Santee Sioux Nation’s Ohiya Casino & Resort near Niobrara, which announced bingo for three Sundays in October 2026 (October 11, 18 and 25), with doors at 12:00pm and the regular session at 2:00pm. The websites of the WarHorse casinos in Omaha, Lincoln and South Sioux City and of Grand Island Casino Resort list no bingo.

How many groups are licensed to run bingo in Nebraska?

The Nebraska Department of Revenue counted 55 organizations licensed to conduct bingo, 46 Class I and 9 Class II, and 4 commercial bingo halls in its 2025 annual report. Players wagered $4,801,591 on bingo in the year ending June 30, 2025, almost half of it in Douglas County, which includes Omaha.

Where can I play bingo in Omaha?

We could not confirm a bingo game in Omaha, Nebraska, in October 2026, and this page has no confirmed game anywhere in eastern Nebraska. Directories list Blondo Bingo, phone (402) 391-9088, on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but one listing puts it at 8061 Blondo St and another at 7040 N 102nd Cir, so phone to ask where and when it plays before you drive.

Where can I play bingo in Lincoln?

We could not confirm a bingo game in Lincoln, Nebraska, or anywhere in southeast Nebraska, in October 2026. Directories list two halls, Cornhusker Bingo at (402) 464-2558 and Superior Bingo at (402) 464-8000, but one directory mixes up their addresses, so phone for the address, days and times.

Where can I play bingo in Grand Island?

The United Veterans Club at 1914 W. Capital Ave. in Grand Island, Nebraska, plays bingo every Thursday at 7:00pm and every Sunday at 2:00pm, with doors open one hour earlier. The club’s phone number is 308-381-1555.

Why call before I go?

Nebraska does not publish its licensed bingo days, and most of the groups that run games here have no website, so the organizer is the only current source. Only three games on this page were confirmed for October 2026: one of them rests on a calendar entry that repeats automatically, and the casino game is announced a month at a time. A short call saves a wasted trip.
