Online Bingo in Canada
Online gambling in Canada is run province by province, and each provincial site only takes players who are physically in that province. There is no Canada-wide licensed bingo site.
- British Columbia: PlayNow, run by the BC Lottery Corporation, has online bingo rooms including Suite 75 and Coast to Coast. You must be 19 or older and in British Columbia when you buy.
- Manitoba: the Manitoba version of PlayNow has the same bingo rooms.
- Quebec: Loto-Québec says its own site is the only legal online gambling site in the province, and it lists online bingo rooms with chat among its games.
- Ontario: private sites operate in a regulated market, and iGaming Ontario’s directory of regulated sites has a bingo category. When we checked on October 10, 2026 it listed Betty, Casino Time and Delta Casino. You must be 19 or older and in Ontario.
- Alberta: the regulator’s description of the province’s Play Alberta site lists casino games, lottery and sports betting, and does not mention bingo.

Online Bingo in the United States
Whether online gambling is legal is decided state by state. We read the regulator pages for New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan, three states that license online casinos, and none of them listed a stand-alone bingo site like the British ones. Where bingo-style games exist, they sit inside a licensed online casino.
The safe way to check is to start from your state regulator, not from an ad. New Jersey, for example, publishes its list of approved internet gaming sites and states that a site not on the list is not approved.
Free Bingo Apps
Apps such as Bingo Blitz are free to download and sell virtual items, but they do not pay out. Bingo Blitz says it is for people 21 and older, for amusement only, and offers no chance to win real money or real prizes. You cannot win money on it.
Cash Bingo Apps That Call Themselves Skill Games
Some apps charge an entry fee and offer cash prizes. Bingo Cash is one. Its publisher’s terms describe its contests as games of skill, and they say cash prizes are not offered in some states. These apps are not licensed as bingo by state gaming regulators. Read the terms for your state before you pay to enter, and treat them as a different thing from a hall game.
If what you want is a real game with a caller and a room full of people, find a hall near you in our bingo hall directory.
UK Bingo Sites: Residents of the UK and Ireland Only
These are the big British names. The companies behind all nine hold a remote bingo license from the UK Gambling Commission, and you can look any of them up on its public register. They are licensed for the British market, and the eight whose terms we could read limit accounts to people in the UK or nearby. Be suspicious of any site using one of these names that says it takes players from the United States or Canada.

Before You Deposit Anywhere
- Find the license. A legal site names its regulator and license holder at the bottom of the page. Look that name up on the regulator’s own website.
- Check that the site takes players where you live. If the terms exclude your state or province, your account can be closed and your winnings withheld.
- Read the withdrawal rules before the bonus offer. A bonus usually comes with a wagering requirement you must meet before you can cash out.
- Set a spending limit first. At a hall the session has a fixed price. Online, it is easy to keep buying cards.
Taxes on Bingo Winnings in the United States
Gambling winnings are taxable income in the United States wherever you win them, online or in a hall. For prizes paid in 2026, a payer files Form W-2G for a single bingo prize of $2,000 or more, and that threshold now adjusts for inflation each year. Source: IRS Instructions for Forms W-2G and 5754.
