Bingo halls in Maryland: 25 listings with days and times

Bingo Halls in Maryland: 25 Listings

Quick answers for Maryland

  • Listings on this page: 25 across 7 areas, plus 61 more in the More listings section.
  • Most bingo: Glen Burnie and Anne Arundel County (8 listings).
  • Busiest day: Wednesday (10 games on our day pages).
  • Prize limit: no statewide cap; each county sets its own, for example $500 a game and $1,000 a jackpot in Harford County (Criminal Law Article, section 13-1504).

How we check: we compare each game with the organizer’s own page or a published listing where one exists, and we say so when we could not confirm a detail. Last checked: October 2026. Official source: Miscellaneous Permits and Licenses page (baltimorecountymd.gov). Seen a change? Tell us and we will fix it.

Maryland bingo is run county by county. Volunteer fire companies, Knights of Columbus councils, Elks lodges and other nonprofits hold charity games under county rules, and a handful of large halls play most days. The big halls are in Anne Arundel County and Southern Maryland.

Fire company and lodge games are spread from Hagerstown to Ocean City. Last checked: October 2026. We checked the 25 games below against the organizer’s own page or a current local calendar. One of them, the Pittsville fire department’s Friday season, ended on October 9, 2026 and is finished for the year.

Six of the 25 come from organizer pages with no date on them. Those are the Severna Park, Glen Burnie, Laurel, Hagerstown and Ocean City Elks lodges, plus the Halfway fire company near Hagerstown. Another 61 listings are leads we could not confirm, 57 of them from an older directory with no date.

We could not confirm a weekly game in Baltimore City, Annapolis, Salisbury, Easton or Cambridge. The same goes for Cecil and Charles counties, and for Allegany and Garrett counties in far western Maryland. Older leads for some of those places are in the tables near the end. Fire company games stop for snow days and holidays, and some run only in season or twice a month. A quick call before a long drive is always wise.

Maryland Bingo Rules

  • Who regulates it: there is no state bingo agency for charity games; each county licenses bingo under Title 13 of the Criminal Law Article of the Maryland Code
  • County licensing offices: the Department of Inspections and Permits in Anne Arundel County, the Department of Permits, Approvals and Inspections in Baltimore County, the Sheriff in Harford County, the Police Commissioner in Baltimore City and the county commissioners in Washington County, among others
  • Who may run bingo: volunteer fire companies and religious, fraternal, civic, veterans’ and charitable organizations, with the exact list set by each county; the proceeds must go to the organization or to charity, not to individuals
  • Commercial halls: some counties license them, Anne Arundel County among them; section 13-101 of the Criminal Law Article bars a commercial bingo license for anyone who was not licensed by June 30, 2008, so no new commercial operators can be licensed
  • Prize limits: no statewide cap; each county has its own in Title 13, for example $500 a game and $1,000 a jackpot in Harford County (section 13-1504), $1,000 a game in Washington County (section 13-2410) and Montgomery County (section 13-1803), $100 a regular game with a jackpot up to $1,000 in Carroll County (section 13-908), and $200 a game with jackpots up to $5,000 in Worcester County (section 13-2610)
  • Baltimore County and Baltimore City: Baltimore County lets a licensed group play no more than twice a week and never on Sunday; its bingo brochure, dated December 2011, caps all prizes at one location at $2,800 a day plus a $200 special jackpot from Monday to Friday, and at $4,000 on Saturday; Baltimore City caps most charity games at $45 a game (section 13-507)
  • Minimum age: no statewide rule; as examples, Worcester County bars minors from bingo (section 13-2610) and Wicomico County bars children under 16 (section 13-2503); where the county law is silent the hall sets its own age
  • Alcohol and credit: Baltimore County, Montgomery County and Worcester County are among those that keep alcohol out of the room where bingo is played, and no organization may let a player play on credit (section 12-108)

The county chapters are in Title 13 of the Criminal Law Article on the Maryland General Assembly site. Anne Arundel County explains its charity licenses on its Fundraising Events page. Baltimore County posts its bingo brochure on its Miscellaneous Permits and Licenses page, but that brochure is dated December 2011, so ask the county for the current prize figures. The rules change at every county line. Do not assume one hall’s age or prize rule holds at the next.

Maryland Bingo FAQ

Is bingo legal in Maryland?

Yes. Maryland allows bingo county by county under Title 13 of the Criminal Law Article. Volunteer fire companies, churches, veterans posts, fraternal lodges and charities run most games under a county license or permit, and Anne Arundel County also licenses commercial bingo halls.

Who regulates bingo in Maryland?

No single state agency regulates charity bingo in Maryland, so each county has its own office. In Anne Arundel County it is the Department of Inspections and Permits, and in Baltimore County the Department of Permits, Approvals and Inspections. Harford County uses the Sheriff, Baltimore City the Police Commissioner and Washington County the county commissioners, for example.

How old do you have to be to play bingo in Maryland?

It depends on the county and the hall, because Maryland sets no statewide bingo age. Bingo World requires players to be 21, and ADF Bingo, Rod ‘N’ Reel and Delta Bingo & Gaming require 18. The Halfway fire company near Hagerstown takes players from 16, and Elkridge Volunteer Fire Department from 14 with a parent or guardian. Worcester County law (Criminal Law Article, section 13-2610) bars minors from bingo.

What is the biggest bingo prize allowed in Maryland?

Maryland has no statewide prize limit, so each county sets its own in Title 13 of the Criminal Law Article. Harford County allows $500 a game and $1,000 for a jackpot, Washington and Montgomery counties $1,000 a game, and Worcester County $200 a game with jackpots up to $5,000. The big halls in Anne Arundel County advertise much larger jackpots, up to $50,000 at Bingo World.

Where can I play bingo every day in Maryland?

In Anne Arundel County. Bingo World at 4901 Belle Grove Rd. plays an evening session every day and a midday session every day except Tuesday. Delta Bingo & Gaming in Laurel lists afternoon and evening sessions seven days a week. ADF Bingo in Mechanicsville and Rod ‘N’ Reel in Chesapeake Beach each play five days a week.

Do Maryland casinos have bingo?

Not that we could find. None of the Maryland casino websites we could open in October 2026 showed bingo sessions, so no casino is listed on this page. Maryland’s biggest bingo halls, such as Bingo World and Delta Bingo & Gaming in Anne Arundel County, are stand-alone halls.

Where can I play bingo in Baltimore?

We could not confirm a weekly game inside Baltimore City, Maryland. Bingo World has a Baltimore mailing address but stands just over the city line in Brooklyn Park, with a 7:30pm session every evening. In Baltimore County, the Knights of Columbus play every Monday at Columbus Gardens in Nottingham.

Where can I play bingo in Glen Burnie?

Glen Burnie, Maryland has two weekly games, and both open the doors at 5:00pm and start early birds at 7:00pm. The Glen Burnie Volunteer Fire Company plays every Thursday at its lodge on Bell Avenue. Glen Burnie Elks Lodge 2266 plays on Tuesday at its lodge on Stevenson Rd in Severn.

Where can I play bingo in Bowie?

Bowie, Maryland has one confirmed game. The Knights of Columbus play every Tuesday at Boswell Hall on Columbian Way, with doors at 5:00pm and the early bird at 6:45pm. An older St. Pius listing for Bowie is in the tables near the end, but we have not confirmed it.

Why call before I go?

Maryland bingo is run mostly by volunteers, and it stops for snow days and holidays. Several games here cancel when county schools close for weather, and some are seasonal or twice a month. Two halls have also changed their phone number or start times since our last check, so a short call saves a wasted drive.

Which day has the most bingo in Maryland?

Wednesday has the most games in Maryland, with 10 listed on our day-by-day pages. By day: Monday 5, Tuesday 7, Wednesday 10, Thursday 6, Friday 7, Saturday 4 and Sunday 6. A hall that plays on several nights counts once on each night.

How many bingo games are listed in Maryland?

This page lists 25 games and halls in 7 areas: Glen Burnie and Anne Arundel County (8), Hagerstown, Frederick County and Carroll County (6), Bowie and the Washington Suburbs (3), Ocean City and the Eastern Shore (3), Southern Maryland (2), Bel Air and Harford County (2), Baltimore and Baltimore County (1). Another 61 are in the More listings section, which is kept separate from the main area sections. Glen Burnie and Anne Arundel County has the most, with 8.

Is there bingo every day of the week in Maryland?

Yes. At least one game is listed for every day, Monday to Sunday, on our day-by-day pages. The count runs from 4 on Saturday to 10 on Wednesday. Smaller towns often have a game only on certain nights, so check the area section for your town and call before you go.
