How to play Daily Bingo

  1. Look at today’s pattern. The yellow box at the top shows the shape you need, such as a letter T or the four corners.
  2. Pick one of the three cards. Everyone sees the same three. Some days one card wins much sooner than the others, so choose with care.
  3. Press Start. A number is called every 8 seconds. Choose Slow or Very slow if you want more time, and tick “Read numbers aloud” to hear each ball.
  4. Press BINGO! fast. Your score is the number of balls called when you press it. If you wait, more balls go by and your score gets worse.
  5. Share your score. Press “Share my score” to send your result to family or friends in a text or email. Then see who picked the better card.

Your first game each day is the one that counts. After that you can play practice rounds with the same cards. Your days played, your streak and your best score are kept on your own device.

The daily patterns

The pattern changes every day. Any line and postage stamp come up twice a week, and the bigger shapes come up once. These are shapes that real bingo halls use for their special games, so Daily Bingo is good practice before a night out.

  • Any line: five in a row across, down or corner to corner.
  • Postage stamp: a 2 by 2 square in any corner of the card.
  • Four corners: just the four corner squares.
  • Letter T: the whole top row plus the middle column.
  • Letter X: both corner to corner lines. The free space counts.
  • Plus sign: the middle row plus the middle column.

FAQ

Is Daily Bingo free?

Yes. There is no money involved, no prizes and nothing to buy. It is just for fun.

Does everyone get the same game?

Yes. Everyone who plays on the same date gets the same three cards, the same pattern and the same numbers in the same order. That is what makes it fun to compare scores.

When does the new card come out?

Every night at midnight, using the date and time on your own phone, tablet or computer.

What is a good score?

It depends on the pattern. With one card, any line usually takes about 30 to 55 balls and postage stamp about 30 to 60. Four corners takes longer, often 45 to 75, and the letter shapes need most of the 75 balls. The result screen tells you how many balls the best card needed that day.

Can I play again if I make a mistake?

Only your first game of the day counts toward your score. You can play as many practice rounds as you like after that.

Do I need to sign up?

No. There is no account. Your scores are saved in your web browser on your own device, so they will not follow you to a different phone or computer.
